Sarasota has become one of the most desired areas to live in all of Florida because of the diversity of

homes available.  When you come off of the beach at Siesta Key and head straight west on Clark Road in

about 10 minutes you go underneath Route 75.  Route 75 travels north and south along the west coast of

Florida.  Once you are headiing east of I-75 you begin to see all the Sarasota country homes.

You will see homes and neighborhoods that have acreage, ponds and lakes, barn animals and farm

land.

Some of these areas have been developed into neighborhood subdivisions for golf course

communities such as Laurel Oak, Heritage Oaks, the Founders Club, Misty Creek, and Bent Tree.  Some

are the more traditional neighborhoods such as in the Hammocks and East Lakeand then still other areas

have been developed into neighborhoods with a minimum of 5 acre lots for homes such as in Saddle

Creek and Myakka Valley Ranches, and others have been developed to have home lots on 5 acres and

have a golf course community such as in Gator Creek.

Hi Sara, I love Sarasota, we sold our home about 5 years ago, it was a 2nd home.  We love Siesta Key, for now though we will just be vacationing.  Thanks for sharing this information I am amazed how many subdivisions there are in Sarasota. Thanks
