What About This Looks Like Rain? When I went to bed last night, the forecast was for rain because the temperatures were way to high for snow. So I got up at my usual 5:30 to get ready for the gym, looked outside.....

Now please tell me what about this looks like rain?

Yesterday, my birds got new homes...new feeders and filled to the brim with food. Such perfect timing..only now I have to wait for them to return. Guess they liked the old busted up feeders better. Even my Greedy little furry friends have not stopped by for breakfast. Where are my Birds?

Wonder if it will be anything like last year..when Baltimore was for the birds!

So I ask you again, What About This Looks Like Rain?

Evelyn, They have been a bit more accurate than this morning. Usually they scare us with snow forecasts that never happen. Not today! It is still raining snowing... and the big snow is called for later today.

My father was a meteorologist with the marines in WWII. He said that with all the new sophisticated technology and instruments they use today and the elaborate computer imaging and displays that modern meteorologists use, that they are only marginally better than his team was during the war!

It's still as unpredictable as it has always been.

Oh by the way, they are predicting that it is going to be mostly 40's and above during February. I hope they're right on that prediction!

I think we are getting more...this mornings snow was supposed to be rain and then the snow starts later. Ha...this is the thickest, whitest rain ever...and it is about 3 inches deep.

Tish, Just heard we are getting another blast in the next hour. I has been snowing since this afternoon. we have about 6 inches now. I just went out to shovel the walk..ha..two pushes of the shovel...that stuff is wet and VERY heavy. Maybe I will try again later when it stops.

Don't think my birds came back yet.
