The Jing ProjectJing Project is a new communications tool much like snag-it. It is a project put together by TechSmith.

You can capture and share images and video from your computer and communicate it with anyone via email, blogs or your website and even use in Instant messaging.

After you download the progaram it will leave a little sun like looking shape on your computer so you can easily access it at anytime. You also can change the way it looks and where it is located on your screen.

Here is an example of what you can capture and what you can do to an image.

Test

Here is a video I did but the sound did not work. The video is on Screencast's website so you'll need to sign up there fo rthe video to work and they links to access it. I do not think they use an ebbedding code like other's do.

Hi Jay,

Thanks for the link. I always love seeing new technology. Check out this product too: http://camstudio.org/ <---- Free download. Camstudio was made popular due to Internet marketing guru John Reese. He was one of the first people to use it extensively. I bought his Traffic Facts course a few years ago (good program BTW) and he developed some awesome screen capture audio/video tutorials using CamStudio.

Take care!

Ronnie

Jeeze Jay!

More technology! Yikes!  I agree with Aziz, I need a tech assistant.  Oh wait, that's Bob!  O.K. - I'll forward it to him.  He'll probably kill me though since he's already on overload.  Thanks for another fun toy to play with!

Jay I do not have a lot of use for something like this, but it is always good to know what is out there.  Thanks for sharing, and if I every need to use it you might be getting a phone call for further explanation.

It seems easy enough and I appreciate you sharing it -- its just technology overload or better yet -- what technology will help me in my business.

Do you follow college football?  If so, who do you think will win between Penn State & Michigan?

Hi Jay - you do love tech toys, don't you? This looks pretty cool, but wonder if it's something I'll actually use. You use it to capture images on the internet, right? Hmm, maybe I'll check it out. I didn't see you answer whether it was easy enough for Monika to download......if it is, I figure I'd be okay with it, too. ;-) See you Sunday, Ann

It LOOKS like a neat thing, but beware, some tool bars & IM things can really do a lot of unintended damage to computers.  They can sometimes be very hard to eliminate as well.
