As a person who dabbles in the arts, I enjoy visiting local crafts stores and places that sell supplies for artists.  In Delaware County there are the usual stores that are chains like A.C. Moore and Michael's, and yes they offer some really good deals and a lot of supplies you may need. 

Yet I enjoy visiting those stores that have been around for a while and offer their unique flavor of business just because there is only one such store, and in Delaware County that store is The Village Art Shop on State Street in Media.

As long as I can remember this store has been there serving the local community with art supplies for painters, sculptures and people who need to get things framed.

There is information posted just inside the store about area events and you will get the help from staff that have been in the business for many years.
