The Crestline ~ Lake Gregory area home sales compared from 2009 to 2010. The volume of homes sold over the 2009 year was less than 2010, however the pricing had some major changes.
The Crestline market had a lot of foreclosures along with regular home sales. This is a negative to some, however this could be a positive for people wanting a vacation home in the mountain area, there is no better time to buy.
2009 Summary ~ A total of 168 homes sold in Crestline/Lake Gregory, out of the 168 homes, 85 of the homes were bank owned. That is a market share of almost 51% foreclosures in the Crestline market. As you can see the majority of homes sold in the $100,000 range.

- 44 homes sold between $50,000 ~ $99,000
- 52 homes sold between $100,000 ~ $150,000
- 34 homes sold between $151,000 ~ $200,000
- 20 homes sold between $201,000 ~ $250,000
- 10 homes sold between $251,000 ~ $595,000
2010 Summary ~ A total of 183 homes sold in 2010 in Lake Gregory/Crestline, of that number 108 were bank owned properties which is just shy of 60% market share for foreclosures. The foreclosure market has increased in the Crestline area. This is a great thing for anyone looking for the first time home or a mountain retreat to call a "Vacation Home". What are you waiting for?

There is something to note in 2010, there was a pick up on the higher end of the market which we didn't see much movement in in 2009.
