Got My New URL and Vanity Email....

Great pickup, Melissa. I still need to do this. I have a couple of domains, but I still don't have the "right" one, ya know? Plus, I NEED to have my email be Eric@... I think that's pretty important.

Gene Rivers inspired me some years ago at Mega Camp.  His URL is ringtherivers and I copied and chose www.ringthediamonds.com since we are The Diamond Group.  Hope to see you in Anaheim.  I think people will remember www.letmebragg.com

Hi Melissa!  I'm not sure exactly what a "vanity" e-mail is but I did recently make an e-mail : brenda@brendainlaramie.com to match my blog domain which is brendainlaramie.com.  If that's what a vanity e-mail is then I guess I am covered for that application....

Melissa, glad you found something so quickly...now can you help the rest of us think of something catchy?  lol  Seriously though, I am glad you are embracing KW and all that it offers!

Melissa, I like your new domain name as well as new vanity email address. It seems you have inspired some more ActivePeeps (just read Sheldon's blog and he used this term) to use the vanity email address.

Thanks for referring my post in your blog entry. I want to write a follow-up post on the comments I received on that post, and perhaps a mini-post on how to create your vanity email address.

I love KW for training - we had an expired script class today and I attended one more that discussed about how to promote KW (and your brand of course) at the listing presentation. I'll still check with my team-leader if I can come to Family Reunion - Chris Smith and Max Pigman will be talking about Mobile marketing - may be, you can share with us when you are back.

Keep Blogging - and use Pegshot or PicPosterous to post the pictures online.

Melissa you don't have to bragg about your new website:-). But somebody also told me a while ago to get a shorter URL because it will be easier for people to remember. I will remember that when I get my new URL. I hear putting 911 in the URL is popular. I might just try that. Great post.

I do like your vanity email-quite creative. I think I can learn a lot from reading your blogs Melissa. I'm also going to look for Praful Thaklars post. I love my realty company but there are times I wish we had a little more hands-on marketing.

This is really important for advertising as well...if you use EAgency from KW for blogging, it gives you this really long URL.  I used myfishersblog.com and mycarmelblog.com and myindywaterfrontblog.com instead and they are on my business cards, T-Shirts etc...easier to remember and I did 301's with them.  Good post and good advice!
