One More Photo Tonight...Heavy Snow

I know the summers there are probably great, but I would much rather suffer the heat in summer here in Corpus Christi that freeze in the winter with you there.  Come on down and visit, guarantee, no snow, no ice, no sleet.

Do I like so much of snow? Not exactly, as I'll have to get up early tomorrow and clean up about a foot of snow so my wife can go to work.

You should consider Hamilton, MT. We've been in the 40's and no snow left on the ground at this point. Just harassing you -- we had our share early in the winter starting before Thanksgiving! I was beginning to think we wouldn't see the ground until June, so we're enjoying our current warm snap. Used to live in Ohio and I sure don't miss the heavy wet snow or freezing rain, we don't have much of either one out here. Our snow is usually dry and powdery. Good luck, you folks in the east have been having your share this year.

WOW! Time to get out there with a broom and knock some of that snow off, or no shade in the summer!  Eh, what do I know, it was a nice 74 degrees here in So. California.

Surely its really freezing night outside there. Just stay warm inside or have some hot choco or tea will do.

All I can say is, wish I could click my heals and go home! LOL  It was 80's and the Santa Anas were blowing yesterday.  No matter how pretty the snow pics are, I don't enjoy being in the snow, unless I'm on vacation. :)

Your photos tell an great story of a harsh winter.  It seems surreal to those of us in Florida.

Margaret, I used to love it when the snow got it's "crispy" topping of frozen rain then glistened all about as the sun met it in the morning.   

Crazy weather day indeed.  Hope you didn't lost power yesterday.

Margaret, now that is some heavy snow you are having.  We only received 6 inches here in Kentucky.  Be safe and some fun throwing snowballs.

My beautiful Crape Myrtle was collapsing under the weight of the snow last night so I donned some heavy clothes and went out to save her.  I shook off all the snow on the branches I could reach and used a long extension pole to get the snow up high on the branches.  Today she looks great and I think she's gonna survive another winter storm!

I was concerned about the weight of the snow on those branches when I first saw it. Sounds like you have everything under control.

I hope you get to have a break and the sun melts some of that snow for you. You really deserve a break and a chance to get outside and breathe warmer air without the boots, scarfs, gloves, and layers of winter clothing.
