Snowed In Darien, Ct. Jan 27, 2011.

Yet another snow storm last night, over 15 inches here in Darien on top of more snow than we usually get in a season. I-95 has been at a standstill for several hours, Metro-North Trains were shut down this morning but now on a weekend schedule and yes school is closed. Here is a video of what I woke up to this morning, beautiful white fluffy snow but just a lot of it. Luckily the sun is coming out and blue skies so hopefully it will melt down. Make the best of it, go out and play in it, I know I will later on today.

Hi David - Your video really gives a good idea of the amount of snow - and it's quite beautiful. Your dog seems to be enjoying it! We have a similar amount here in Huntington - still waiting for our driveway to be plowed out... sigh.

Great pics of the white stuff Dave! And I enjoyed a short walk myself...but with the amount of time and energy people are putting into shoveling out, the houses with the short driveways and the big garages are sure to sell first!

Thanks for the comments, it's fun to see pictures from different locations. Gail I agree Debbie should take some pic's of Cancun but maybe we should talk to Bill about a company trip.....

Lisa, we were out for 3 hours shoveling yesterday morning, but it was somewhat fun.

And yes our dog loves the snow, she has to hop through it like a rabbit it's so deep.
