How Important is An Online Presence?

Our broker at Tierra Antigua sent out this message and link, company-wide, today. This is amazing.

Technology, innovation, creativity - we must change, evolve, and INVOLVE if we want to be a continuing success in our businesses.

If you think an online presence and social media isn't important, spend 5 minutes watching this YouTube video:

Unless you prefer to be a "secret" agent, it is imperative in today's world to have an online presence and more. Technology is growing and changing at a fast pace - hard to keep up!

Technology is so fun to try to keep up with. I am behind overall, but in my area and business way ahead if that makes any sense.

Call a Marana neighbor, I'm THERE!

Carla - you inspired a "whole 'nother blog post" with that comment - thanks so much.  I'll send it to you when I post it - right now it's in my draft folder.

Carl - I love what the home inspectors have to say on here on Active Rain.  I feel like I ask much better questions and have an eye for all sorts of new things when I'm representing my buyers now.

Chuck - I am THERE.  I feel like a total novice, and yet today, for instance, my favorite finance guy called and asked for pointers.  I'm thinking, "Me, you're asking...ME???"

Cara - I had a webinar that I thought was on at 1PM today and when I got to work at 11AM and realized it was 9AM I was bummed. It was all about SocialMedia in our business. I hope it is a rerun soon.

Wow, Cara, that is amazing! Those numbers are staggering & I think we've only just begun! I would say an on-line presence is pretty important...

Cara, how interesting since someone else just wrote a blog about how far behind her broker was.  When he was asking his agents for goals and things they were doing to get there, not one mention of the internet!!!  Great post.

Thanks Cara, good stuff!

Hard to imagine not being involved in all the social media, technological resourses, and electronic age gizmos. Lot's of stuff going on and a lot to learn but getting started and continuing to learn will put us ahead of the pack.

Good post!

Cara,  You are so right, we have to have the online presence.  This is the area I need to get myself up to speed on.  Thanks for the info.

Good morning Cara, I agree with you, and also I think that combining that with the traditional ways of doing business is a secret to success...
