Welcome to Bon Aire Park in Suffern NY
Bon Aire Park, located in the village ofSuffern, was built in 1973 and was the first condo development built in the town. It is one of the largest apartment complexes in the county and is comprised of a combination of condo's and co-ops. Most of the units are one or two bedroom garden apartments with some townhouses of 2-3 bedrooms.
All of the units are spacious with generous closet space and attractive courtyard settings. The co-ops have additional storage allocated in the basements. Most of the condo's have private basements, many with cut-through's from the condo unit, which increases the living space by 50%. The amenities in the development include a community pool, tot lot, basketball, tennis and shuffleboard courts with many more recreational activities available nearby.
What makes Bon Aire Park a choice place to live is its location. It's walkable to the Village of Suffern and all that it has to offer. The Village, a blend of history and trendiness is located in the western part of Rockland County, just north of the Jersey border and 35 miles north of New York City. It's also approximately 17 miles from the Tappan Zee Bridge .
The Suffern train station is just a short walk from the condos and many choose the train as an option to commute into Manhattan. For those who prefer public transportation, Red and Tan bus lines(leaving from town to Port Authority) will get you there. If you prefer the convenience of driving, Suffern is only minutes away from the New York State Thruway, and Route 17 passes right thru Suffern, up to Orange County and into New Jersey.
Bon Aire Park is not only convenient to train, bus and car transportation to the city or anywhere else you might need to frequent, it's also conveniently located near an assortment of shops, restaurants, supermarkets, library and hospital.
