You know your situation, you know if you don't have enough money this month or next month, and you know you won't be able to make the payment. The best thing for you to do is to address the problem. Get a plan. Ask yourself ," What am I going to do? What can I do?" 2. Talk to your lender. It's basically the same situation as a renter who can't make the rent and doesn't tell the landlord. When the landlord calls on the 5th of the month and learns you can't pay , he is really upset and I guarantee, that the first think he will say is , "Why didn't you tell me earlier? 3. Open the mail you get from your lender and respond. It's that simple. Just Do It. I know you don't want to do it, I know you may be tempted to say, I'll do that later, but please do it right away.
