Pay It Forward - Brightening a Day

Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Indy NE 317-290-7775 www.marchantteam.com

I think you’ve met my daughters in previous posts.  From time to time, my husband and I like to send care packages to them; it started when they were in college and we just keep doing it.   Only one still is in college, a Senior this year.  One lives in Chicago and the other in downtown Indianapolis.Daughters

It probably brings me as much joy to shop for the items as it does for them to get the package in the mail.

Shhhh and I’ll tell you what I got them…everything is related to Valentine’s Day.  So, rubber ice cube trays in the shape of hearts, little pink/red grease boards for their desks, pink PJ pants, notepads and matching pens, a few other novelties and of course chocolates.

I love getting something other than a bill or advertisement in the mail and it feels good to know that someone thought about you as they mailed that special something to you.   So, today we’ll pack them up and get ready to mail them to pay it forward to some of the most precious people we know!

What a great idea...my kids are still at home, but sometimes I will spend the dollar and mail something to them...AT 8 years old this is a thrill.

Cindy ... the smiles you will wrought!  The little things that say "I care" are likely to be the ones most remembered!  You're a model Mom!

Cindy,  what a great idea.  All my kids still live at home so that won't work until they move out.  However, when my son was in the Army we used to send him and a couple of his fellow soldiers care packages all the time.

Nice! I'll be sending those little packages to Rachael now that's she's off to college. Definitely a Valentine's package is in order!
