Spring Blossoms

Yesterday I wrote a post entitled "I'm Ready Already" regarding the excessive cold weather we have had this winter in Lake Ridge and that I was ready for Spring blossoms now, not later, but now.  I was at least pleased a lot of the severe snow storms on the Eastern Seaboard had literally gone around the DC area.

As I said, "I Shoulda' Kept My Mouth Shut".  When we awoke this morning it was evident our luck had run out. There must be a moral to this story, but I have no idea what it is - please help me out

As "they" say "better you than me". Your neck of the woods has experienced snowfall for January that totals Chicago's entire winter.

Karen - How much did you end up getting?  we only got a couple of inches, but the ice that we got before it turned to snow made the roads slick.

Hi Karen, These last several storms have really beat you all up, back east. Today we were 78 degrees and sunny and I  jokingly mentioned to Pat Kennedy that we are going get a our cold spell this weekend. It is supposed to be in the mid 60's  but we all feel you pain with all the cold and snow you have had to contend with. I haven't heard anyone say that it must be global warming.

Moral of the story?  I guess it is the old advice to be prepared.  Weather offers no guarantees, that is for sure.  Hopefully it will be over soon, this crazy run of storms.
