Realtor.com Has Changed its Look Again!

I went in this evening to lower the price on one of my listings (not the one pictured below), and put in a few updated photos.  I checked to see how it would look on the first page (where it shows the four photos with "See All 25 Photos" in the center).  Looked good.  Then I went to do some other things, and when I checked on how my listings all looked again, I was quite surprised to see a new look!

Realtor.com has changed its look again!

Now I have to decide if the order in which I have put my 25 pictures is the best order.  I used to take four samples from around the house to show up in the collage, but now the collage is gone.  I like change, but constant?!

Chris, thank you for the update on the new look and changes in realtor.com - it is now on my "to do and don't forget list" for tomorrow. Thank you for doing their press release!

I think Realtor.com is beginning to feel a few of their competitors coming up behind them and they are constantly searching for ways to improve their site and the content they deliver to the consumer.  I am beginning to see more leads coming from Zillow lately than Realtor.com.

UPDATE ON THE CHANGE:  I got a call from Realtor.com this morning about the changes.  They wanted to let me know that this was a test that will be going on in certain areas of the country--not all--and that the change is not permanent.  We gave our feedback on the look, and they really appreciated the comments.  So don't go in and change your pictures around as it could all be changing back quite soon.  : )

It appears that everybody should be watching for the changes and how the changes will impact the appearance of their listings.

Hi Roy - It is so important to keep an eye on your listings and how they appear to the public!  I also try to make sure that all the places my listing appear remain "user friendly"!

I do not mind change if it is for the better but I checked yesterday and again today and I cannot advance the photos on my listings no matter how long I wait. I cannot open the additional photos no matter how long I wait and my virtual tour links no longer work! I am stressed! If others are having the same problem, hopefully they will use the feedback button on the listing page. Sharon

Hi Sharon - Thanks for the head's up.  I went and checked my listings in Internet Explorer and Firefox, and while IE was slow to kick in, it eventually worked.  Firefox was much faster.  I DO think that they will listen to your feedback, so be sure to give plenty of it!  I think the old format was faster to load . . .
