Mortgage Rates for Arizona

Mortgage Rates for Arizona. Who would have guessed a year ago people would be complaining that their interest rate is 5%? Even after rates climbed for 2 months before leveling off, rates are still at historic lows. How many times since the 1950's have rates been at a whipping 5%. I'm sure many people on here remember when mortgage rates topped 15, 16 and even 17% in the 1980's

Let's look at some examples of today's mortgage rates with no discount or orig

Conv 30 yr - 4.875% - 5.250%

Conv 15 yr 4.375% - 4.625%

FHA 30 yr 4.750% - 5.125%

FHA 15 yr 4.250% - 4.500%

5/1 ARM avg - 3.750%

I'd say we're still doing ok!

Brian;  I would have thought they would have increased by now, but glad they are still hovering around 5%.  If you are getting complaints, sorry to hear that, I guess you could have a history of what they were once upon a time when they were in the 'Teens".

There's always someone who wants it to go even lower, can't say I blame them.. so long as they appreciate how low they still are I s'pose
