It's going to be a great weekend to get out and have some fun!

How about a little magic? Spencers Theatre of Illusion will be at 8 PM Friday at the Alys Stephens Center. The Spencers have been named International Magicians of the Year and put on an outstanding show! Adult tickets are $37 and kids are $17.
* * * * * * *
The Polar Plunge will be Saturday morning at Oak Mountain Lake. The Alabama Law Enforcement Torch Run is raising money for Special Olympics and this should be a lot of fun for participants and spectators alike! Costume contest is at 9 AM and the plunge begins at 10 AM.

Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus is in town! Sunday will be the last day, but there are a number of performances throughout the weekend at the BJCC Arena. Times and ticket information here.

The Birmingham Feline Fanciers Cat Show will be at the BJCC Exhibition Hall Saturday (10 AM - 5 PM) and Sunday (9 AM - 4 PM). Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and $3 for children under 10.

An Evening With Ira Glass (host and producer of NPR's "This American Life" will be at the Alys Stephens Center Saturday evening at 8 PM. Ira is a great storyteller and this should be even more fun than his radio show!
