If you are in the real estate profession in the Denver area you really should check out Denver MiniREBar Camp organized by Kristal Kraft. I have been a few times now, and plan to return. If you have a few hours free, it is definitely worth it. You also get to meet other Denver folks that are in the real estate industry that are using technology to further their business.
And if you haven't met Kristal yet, that is another reason to come, she is a wealth of knowledge and continuously organizes these types of events to help bring the real estate community to the next level of serving customers.
The next meeting is February 11, at 9am - 10:30 at the Denver Board of Realtors at 4300 Warren in Denver. There is no cost. (Yes, that is correct).
This next meeting will cover video blogging and there are three speakers scheduled. Ben Yost is a mortgage banker that uses video, Jennifer Pollock is an agent that uses video as well and Mark Schow will talk about equipment.
The group tends to have a light feel which I like, where interaction is very encouraged and it is much more than 1 person standing and lecturing to the rest.
Pretty timely considering many have participated in the AR/Kodak Video Challenge this month.
Go on over to Kristal's post if you want to re-blog hers.
You should also check out the MiniREBarCamp site on EventBrite, you can join the group there, and rsvp as well.
