Hard to imagine why Sprite was tossed out in the cold

Sprite's just waiting for a nice short walk.
Sprite is a very loving and sweet elderly Beagle. This precious thing was most likely tossed out in the cold because she is OLD. Hard to imagine.

Whoever owned her, didn't care too much about the food she ate, or the consequences of no Veterinarian care. As a result of that, Sprite has lipid deposits in both eyes. Now, this is not a major health issue and though her eye sight is somewhat compromised, she can see fine enough and gets around with no problems.

The big health problem for her is that she is Heartworm positive. She has just started her treatments. Yes it is dangerous, but I have owned 3 Heart worm positive dogs. Jamerson & most recently Bailea, both were older dogs and they lived many years and brought me great joy.

All Sprite needs is a loving foster home.
That's it! BCAR will pay for the food, Veterinarian bills, and even pet sit when you go out of town.

Heartworm positive dogs need a restricted exercise. In other words, short walks, no rough housing etc. This would be easy for Sprite. She just enjoys her snuggle bed or curling in your lap. How hard is that?

BCAR
Stop by BCAR's Open House on January 29 and 30, from 1 to 4 p.m.
If you're worried about your dog or your cat, don't be. If they are dog friendly, Sprite will love them. We just ask that your dog be fairly low key so it won't want to engage in play time.

She is a fine easy walker and she appears to be house trained. And she's not a barker.Sprite just needs love and a warm home.

Won't YOU please foster her? Please don't wait for "some one to do it." There is no one else.

Come see her at Open House this Saturday and Sunday, January 29 and 30, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Pllease call the kennel at 706-268-1346 if you have any questions. Looking for a loving foster home for a sweet, elderly Beagle
