Business Not As Successful as You Would Like? Check Your Attitude!!!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Alpha Prosperity Management

With all of the not so positive press concerning the real estate market, do you find it hard to stay upbeat about your business as a real estate professional. Well, if you answered yes, your probably not alone. At any given time, there can and will be challenges to everything that you do, both professionally and personally. How you deal with those challenges will set the tone for your level of success. The attitude we choose to have will either help us or hinder us.

As real estate professionals, we must choose to have a good attitude, even when the market may not be going your way, even when your client won't make a decision about purchasing a home (after you have shown them 75 homes so far), even when there is a mountain of paperwork to be done and you have no time to do it. You have to believe that things will change and get better. We can't afford to sit around and wallow in the negative. Choose to have a great attitude about your business and what you do. Choose to take actions to improve your situation. Choose to market yourself to more clients, choose to create or improve that website that you have been putting off forever, choose to delegate some of that paperwork to a capable real estate assistant. Sometimes, we make a wrong choice, that's okay. Don't wallow in the negative, just choose to learn from that wrong choice and make another, better choice.

I am currently reading, Attitudes That Attract Success by Wayne Cordeiro and I am enjoying it tremendously. It is a very light, easy read and the reader can probably read it in a couple of days or so. If there is one thing that I will take away from this book, is that we control our attitude and how we react to things. When faced with challenges, we must learn to bounce back quickly. As the author so eloquently stated, "When you go through hell, don't stop to take pictures." That is really good advice.

Genuine enthusiasm is probably the most important attitude to bring to your business.  Even when dealing with challenges, attack them with enthusiasm.  Roll up your sleeves and be a problem solver, not someone who is paralyzed by the situation!

Stay positive and trust in the Lord, Believe in him and he will believe in you consider this just a test. Are you keeping to your Christian values during the tough times. There are always those who have it tougher. Untested faith has little value.

Great to hear from you again. Hope you pick up the book. It is great reading. It reminds us that if we use  biblical principles everything works out for our good.

Good post Courtney.  Today I heard on the radio about the one thing you can do on a daily basis to boost your energy level - "exercise your joy"!  Smile all day long, when confronted with negative situations or sad situations, remember your joy, be joyful, look at things from a "this too shall pass" stand point and keep on being joyful.  I thought I'd share that w/you!

Thanks Chris & Maria. I will have to add that one to memory bank. When you smile, things are somehow just a bit easier.
