With all the sunny weather we lucky SOCAL folks have had this month, you're probably forgetting we are
in the middle of winter, but we are. And while it lasts, it's a perfect time to take a trip up to the San Bernardino Mountains for some skiing.
SNOW VALLEY (a few miles east of Running Springs on Highway 18) is having one of their best years ever. Currently they are keeping an average base depth of 12-30 inches. The temps today are around 40 degrees with plenty of sunshine.
Hours: 8:30 AM - 8:00 PM. AND, no road restrictions. Highway 18 is the way to come, as 330 is CLOSED! ( Always check weather and highway conditions).
