11 Comments on Kodak Video Challenge...John McCarthy Your Seacoast NH REALTOR Highlights The Chase Home for Children in Portsmouth, NH
that is great to hear that there is something like that out there. Lots of warm hearts.
Stan - Thank you for stopping by! I have enjoyed all the posts I have done lately that feature organizations helping kids. I plan to keep doing these until I run out of organizations here on the Seacoast. Even if I can't attend some of these, I feel that I am still helping to raise awareness for their causes.
Just stopping by to wish you an outstanding weekend!
Have a great day!
The colors of winter in Kentlands. Life is good in Montgomery County, Maryland.
You are doing a great job raising awareness for such worthy causes! Katy did a great job on the video too!
John ~ not only was this a well-done video, it showcased a fabulous cause. I believe you you the video thing down to an art!! How many kids are in the program at one time?
Roy - Your warm wishes are always appreciated! I am happy you stopped by to find out a little bit about this organization.
Sharon - I am connected somehow to each and every one of these organizations I have featured in my recent posts. Because of these connections, I feel a personal obligation to help support their efforts, and AR is the best platform I know. My immediate connection in this case is my Chris, who sits on the Board of Directors at The Chase Home for Children. I would like to offer a special thanks to my longtime friend Executive Director Katy McDermott for graciously accomodating my last minute request for this interview. BTW, there is an upcoming fundraising event to benefit The Chase Home for Children which will be sponsored by Flatbread Pizza in Portsmouth, NH. You probably see where I'm going here - of course I will be writing a blog post on that event as well and helping them get more exposure! Thank you!
Dawn - The video thing for me is a work-in-progress, but I won this video challenge anyway, because I got a chance to raise awareness and support the efforts of The Chase Home for Children. The "brick and mortar" facility can accomodate 17 residential kids, but it is home base for their larger Outreach Program which touches the lives of a great many families by offering individual and family counseling services and temporary respite accomodations to provide "space" for kids when needed. As Katy said, The Chase Home for Children has helped thousands of children since its inception. Thank you for supporting me in my efforts to highlight these organizations.
John, Great video and great cause... I sure your video will help get more support for the organization..
Sheila - Thanks for dropping by. I learned a lot about using video for a blog post by this experience. I was very fortunate Executive Director Katy McDermott was a natural subject! I am looking forward to the next video.
John; you are a breath of fresh air. God bless you. I also have a soft spot for children. see http://sienahouseshelter.org/
Kenneth - Thanks for digging back into the archives and finding this post. Are you connected to The Siena House? I clicked the link and read up on this organization. Looks like they help a lot of people in need too. Hope you have an awesome weekend!
