I am always excited about reporting good news in the 
Avon, Ohio area. Even if it is slightly old news. But I just wanted to share if you have shopped in Avon for groceries at Marcs? Well if you haven’t been there, you are missing out on a great opportunity. This store opened a few months ago on Detroit road just across from the Avon Commons shopping area and I have to tell you I am impressed. This Marcs is well stocked with groceries to the level that it can compete easily with other local groceries in the area as far as product and brand choices are concerned in the major/common food needs. No it is not tight isles and overstocked spaces. There is ample room for moving carts even during it’s busiest days (which appears to be everyday). The wait in lines is pretty s
hort and they appear to have more than adequate man and women power to handle busy hours. All this and yet the best part is the store prices. Most items are already marketed down slightly to competitive neighbor stores but than they run their sales on common items that just blows away the local competition.

Saturday8am - 9pm
Sunday8am - 7pm

In 1979 Marc Glassman opened a relatively large but unpretentious drugstore in Middleburg Heights Ohio. Marc's works on a shorter mark-up than most retailers. A big part of being able to do this is our tremendous store volume. Literally thousands of consumers pass through our doors everyday. We never run "sales", as our pricing is already below the sale prices of many of our competitors.
All of our stores are self-service with the exception of our prescription drug departments and cosmetics departments. The design of our stores includes well-lighted, logically planned aisles which are consistently evolving to provide ease of shopping and a pleasant experience.
