Today Saturday Jan. 29,2011 I will take a Family Day. I actually mean a mother daughter day. Tomorrow

I have events with my husband and boys.

At first I was stressed....what a whole weekend lost to competitions and tournaments...when can I work??

But after a little calm down I realized that I need to have balance in my life and I need to make sure I am having family time. One of the BIG reasons I became an agent was to have a flexible schedule so I can spend time with my kids. So this weekend I will just relax and enjoy the competitive spirit of my children and root them on during their  sporting events!

But I will not forget to ask for referrals!

Don't worry.  You have so much energy and skill that you can do in 5 days what it takes the rest of us 8 to accomplish.  Besides, if you were all real estate all the time you'd quickly bore the life out of everyone around you :)

Have a great mother-daughter day, I hope it involves, ice cream, shoes and hand bags.  Well, now you know my perfect day.

"One of the BIG reasons I became an agent was to have a flexible schedule"  I smiled when I read this ... how many agents over the years come into real estate thinking  they will "set their own hours" .... and end up setting about 80 of their own hours every week... :-)
