2:00-6:30 Registration at the Park Place Hotel
4:00-6:00: Guest Room check-in. Room rate is $99 a night. (Early check in option available if rooms are ready).
4:00-6:00: RTV Meet and Greet/Welcome Reception
6:00-7:30: Dinner with Keynote Speaker Jason LaVanture (Top of the Park) - (guest dinner and childcare available at additional cost with prior notice - please contact Jacque for more info)

How To: Sales and Marketing presentations
Bracketing Workshop I: Shooting brackets and demo shooting
Practical Prepping: Follow a veteran photographer as he points out all the little things you might be missing when you shoot. Train your eye to make the room great for the photo you take.

Sunday topics include:
Bracketing workshop II: (Demo Session) Use your software or a free download to combine your images from the day before. Computers are not available so bring your laptop. If you don't have a laptop then beg or borrow or look over someone's shoulder.
Photo Critiquing: Have the experts scrutinize the images you took the day before (or from your stock images) and learn what techniques can help you produce better photos.

Hotel Stay:
Contact The Park Place hotel 231-946-5000 to reserve your room.Room rates are $99 a night + tax. The Park Place is located in the heart of downtown Traverse City within walking distance of dining, nightlife and parks. Call and make your reservation by March 15th (late registration depending on availability).
If you would like to room share with another attendee please contact Jacque and I will match you up with another photographer of the same gender that has requested a room share. - Be sure to note this request on your registration form!

The above link gives travel directions from the local airport as well as Detroit, Chicago and Lansing. You can check flight rates for Traverse City airport as well as any number of other locations including Detroit (4hrs away), Chicago (5 hrs), Lansing (3hrs) and Grand Rapids (2hrs). If you plan to fly into a one of these airports and would like to share the cost of a car rental please let me know your arrival time and location and I will try to match you with a companion. - Be sure to note this request on your registration form.
Park Place Hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to and from Cherry Capital Airport. You will want to inform the front desk of your arrival and departure times when you make your reservation.
Dining:
The Park Place has a great on-site restaurant as well as a piano bar. There are also a number of great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
What to bring:
Your camera equipment/tripod and laptop would be wise so you can participate in demo shooting and processing.
