Hey Roy, what a beautiful shot, thanks for sharing....Make it a great day.
Thanks for your comments. I enjoy taking the photographs and am very pleased when others like them.
I'll share a picture from my walk this afternoon:
The colors of winter in Kentlands. Life is good in Montgomery County, Maryland!
Roy - What do they call those flowers these days? When I was a kid, they called them "Jack in the Pulpits." I also like that photo in your comment #4.
Hi Roy - That is one beautiful anthurium--I wish I had a place like that where I could go visit plants--I can't even find my plants right now! : )
Brookside Gardens is a lovely place and I think it's kind of a well kept secret. I remember longing to go there as a young boy. When I first saw the flowers I was hooked. I love to go every year to see the flowers in the spring and the butterflies in the fall.
Today is a community clean up day in Kentlands and I was a volunteer worker this morning. I may be getting too old for this stuff.
Dolores and I are having a very busy week. I will have material for many blogs.
We have a warm August day in Maryland. Dolores is heading north to Penn National for a round of golf with her friends.
It is sometimes a good idea to revisit some old blogs and reblogs. We might even find some good ideas for new posts.
