Sunday Photo . . . Help, I'm Stuck in Here!!

It's no secret we've had a lot of snow, and it started very early in the year. We've had almost 60" of snow so far this month. Many decorations are buried under the depth of snow.

As I was driving around yesterday, I came across this front yard scene. It's too bad the snow's so deep, as I would have liked to have seen some creative kids put a couple of smaller snowman around this one trying to pull it out.

Ed, LOL, poor snowman! And like my house, the front door is lost in the snow. Of course we don't use the front door but if I needed to I would have a hard time. Perhaps in the interest of safety I should at least make it possible to open the storm door. But getting to it is a HUGE white issue...

Are you ready for the next round?

Ed, LOL! Maybe, there is a family of snow people in this yard.  They may be too short to view!

It's really been too cold to have the children outdoors.  Yesterday, was the first acceptable day, here near Hartford, for our outdoor play.  As long as the sun is out, you're fine.  Once it goes down, the chill and cold, come back, quickly. Today is going to be another heatwave, 34 degrees!  More snow coming on Wednesday!

After all the snow we had last year I'm glad we've been spared the worst so far this winter.  However I empathize with every north on the Atlantic seaboard who have been snowed in this winter.  The snowman needs a little bit of Frosty magic to get out of his rut.

Ed - You really should move up north to the Greater Toronto Area.  We don't have nearly as much snow as you.  Several great ActiveRainers and you can participate in mini-RainCamps in many wonderful locations, eh? :)

Ed,

I really feel for you guys in the great white North.  Especially you parents, how many times have you had to watch Despicable Me?  We're due for a cold front next Wednesday, the high will be 37 and the low 22.  You probably consider that spring.
