Florida Governor Scott still skeptical about High Speed Rail

Governor Scott is concerned about the costs involved in High Speed Rail Transportation as currently proposed for Florida.  Questions of budget and commercial viability of the program as drafted remain a concern.

Bay News 9, Tampa Bay News arm of BrightHouse Cable has a poll up on their website for Floridians to voice their opinion on this megabuck project.

Despite the construction jobs to be created (including, probably for my former employer), I oppose the project as drafted because of costs.

What is your opinion (Florida residents only, please).

High speed rail makes good sense to those who believe in big government.

Voice our opinions - how wonderful but government as we know it does what it feels like - not representing us in the least -
