As a dedicated group of Marbleheads Glover's Regiment plodded silently Thur the snow just as there for fathers did in the Battle of Trenton.General Glover was one of George Washington's finest generals and his men from Marblehead helped win the Revolutionary war.We have been going to his grave on the anniversary of his death sense 1974.The Regiment silently marches to the beat of a muffled drum and there way lit by lantern. They make a 1/2 mile walk to Old Burial Hill, one of Americas oldest cemetery's,and give one of the finest tributes to the keepers of freedom from our long past. The regiments Chaplin gave the benediction and then 21 musket salute was rendered. The final words were to the crowd watching this very solume tribute. His words were so simple but with what is happening in our world and now the chaos in Egypt,I wanted to pass this on.May God Protect and Bless the United States of America in this a time of peril. Thanks for reading this and may you be safe from harm.
