This is Proof that Craigs List actually works. I have gotten several Leads on this Property thru the service.
This is a Manufactured Home on Leased Land, so as per our MLS rules it cant go into the MLS, so the only way to get it sold is thru Advertising. I am also working with several other people who have contacted me thru ads posted thru Craigs List.
Still has to Close, but hey its under Contract.....
Jay: I'm really encouraged by some of the successes I've seen from others with Craigs List. I keep reading up on it because I've had absolutely no success whatsoever. Not even the first comment, even a bogus one. I am trying to figure out what I must be doing wrong. Any advice? Congrats on getting this one under contract and my fingers are crossed for a successful closing.
Donna, I throw all of my stuff up on Craigs List, some get activity while other do not. It really seems to be those that are well priced get the most activity. I use it as another Prospecting tool. I have a Team and it generates Buyer Leads that I can then pass onto my Buyers Agents.
Its very Easy to use, especially when you incorporate V Flyer or Postlets as your Fler maker, they give you the HTML code, so it only takes seconds to toss things on Craigs List and the other Free Sites that allow the HTML code.

I would also try posting the ads in other areas of Craigs List. In SW Florida, we draw alot of Buyers from the Midwest and The New York, New Jersey area, so I will post things to those areas as well. I have also taken a few listings from doing this also.
