A year ago I met up with one of my high school friends whom I reconnected with through Facebook. A few months later I reconnected with another high school friend through Facebook as well. On Saturday, I met one of them and we took a short ride to one of the scenic lookouts around Diamond Head. (picture above)

Afterwards, we all got together for breakfast (my girlfriend flew in from the mainland for her daughter's wedding) and the couple of hours we all shared passed with memories just flooding in. We were amazed that things from almost 40 years prior the rest of us remembered at another ones mention. What one didn't think of for years, another would bring up and bam! Another memory flooded in.

All three of us have changed in one way or another.

The memories didn't.

Great story, Sally!  I've reconnected with so many folks from high school through Facebook as well.  There are many of them that I just knew somewhat casually in high school, but Facebook has really created an avenue for us to get to know one another better.  I've truly grown some new friendships.

Thanks for sharing your story!

Best~

Karen

How fun!  Wanna hear a great facebook story?  Last week an agent here on AR (and I have closed referral business from her before) found me on facebook.  We have the same maiden name and it turns out we are cousins, LOL!
