This is really cool. I received a lead from my web site. The person claimed to be from England. They story goes like this.
I have a client looking to invest in real estate.
Of course they have a story on where the money comes from, but no idea on what they are looking for. The first thing to do is check to find out exactly where the e-mail came from. Every e-mail has an address attached to it. To view this information, go to VIEW on the top bar and click on message source. This will show you more than you need to know about the e-mail.
Look for Originating-IP: [41.155.90.105]
This is like a return address. Copy the numbers 41.155.90.105
Open up a service that provides information on IP numbers, and paste the numbers in. Here is a good site:

In this case, the person claiming to be from England, sent the e-mail from a computer in Nigeria. So what that that tell you about who you are really dealing with?
Stay safe, surf safe.
