Trinity Center in Pine Knoll Shores

 

Camp Trinity is a residential summer camp in Pine Knoll Shores, North Carolina.  It is sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of East Carolina at Trinity Trinity Center in Pine Knoll Shores
Center.  I drive by the entrance to Trinity Center twice a day on my way to the office,  My parents home is located about one block from the entrance,  and until this weekend, I had no idea what a wonderful place it is. 

 

I have a six year old, who has asked to attend summer camp this year.  I had heard of Camp Trinity before, but never checked it out.  So, yesterday afternoon, we decided to walk over and see what it was all about.  WOW!  Camp Trinity is AWESOME!

Camp Trinity has many different Camp Sessions to choose from, depending on the age of the child.  Some of the activities your child will experience at Camp Trinity are Sailing & Canoeing, A variety of sports like soccer, volleyball, basketball, etc., Christian Education, Arts and Crafts, Challenge Course & Team Building, swimming, marshing, and so much more. 

 

 

Camp Trinity is located on Bogue Banks soundside and includes 1500 feet of Trinity Center in Pine Knoll ShoresOcean Front property that is accessed by a tunnel that runs under the island's main highway NC 58. Facilities include four dorms, each with two cabins.  Each cabin houses 10 campers and one counselor.  Other facilities include a large dining room, a covered outdoor recreation center, swimming pool, recreation field and challenge course, a beach house and ocean side pavillion, outdoor chapel and more. I think we have found a summer camp that Tanner will Love! 

 

Registration for Camp Trinity is now open.  Members of Parishes in the Diocese of East Carolina will be given preferential registration privilege through March 1st, then all applicants will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis.  For a complete list of sessions available,  prices, and more information about Camp Trinity or to register your child for one of the sessions, please visit their website at www.trinityctr.com/campt.

Lisa - I always enjoyed summercamp as a kid.  Camp Trinity looks and sounds wonderful!  Wish I could go :-)

Cinnamon - If I didn't know that "Jamma" was right around the corner, and I can be there in less than fifteen minutes...I wouldn't consider it...Yet!

Amy, As you know, I run through Trinity Center almost every day of my life.  The trail around the sound side park is one mile.  I start there and then run another two miles around Beacon's Reach.  Makes for a great 5K.  Tomorrow I'll pay more attention to my surroundings.

Mom - We couldn't believe how much they have to offer in Trinity Center...So glad we took the time to check it out.  You think Tanner would like it?  I think it would be a really good experience for him!
