Several sellers have asked me why my firm can't list for the same low amount.  What I tell them is that our commission covers both the compensation for our firm listing the property as well as the compensation to the selling broker.  I don't believe the $2995 covers both.  There seems to be a lot of misunderstanding around ads like these.  I would appreciate your comments.

Quite frankly, I have never felt any competition from discounters.  That said, you need to research the company you're going against to see exactly what services they provide for their fee. --JM

Hi Brenda,

Get your revenge!

List the properties AFTER the seller has wasted some actual cash plus 3 or 6 months of their life and never sold their house with the discounter.

THEN explain how you are different, and how the money the seller just spent was actual cash that did nothing and was completely wasted. What you offer is to work hard, but only get paid when you deliver actual results. Results that put money IN the sellers pocket, instead of taking money OUT of the sellers pocket.

A discount FSBO company in our area is going out of business.  I think that says it all.
