Wondering if other Stagers on ACTIVERAIN are finding the month of January to have an increase over last year at this same time.

Despite this cold weather (and my urge to hibernate) homeowners are coming out in full force and ready to do business after the holidays. We at Home Harmony have seem more so this year than in the last few. Is this just a trend in the Montreal area? Are others seeing an increased need for stagers too?

Here are a few photos and some links to just a few projects HOME HARMONY has worked this last month. We hope to see Februrary break some records too!

Good Luck fellow stagers

My January 2011 was "different" than January 2010.  I spent much of the month traveling and training to be a CSP staging trainer.  Intense but a real adventure.  Glad to hear that yours was good Liz.  Missed you in Vegas....next year?

Hi Liz, absolutely a great start to the year. You are right when you say that the market is definitely ready to get their properties listed.

I've been absolutely slammed and am loving every minute of it. I have 5 stagings and 3 de-stagings scheduled between now and Feb. 15th.

Liz -- nice transformations in these occupied homes!  2011 has started out with a BANG.  My phone is ringing off the hook and like Kathy above, I couldn't be happier.  I just need to find some time to sleep  :-)

Liz - Charleston was hopping this January in both stagings and closed stagings (home under contract).  Add to that the addition of a team of staging trainers, more staff and the launch of marketreadyrealestate.com's online consultation program, speaking at RESA, etc.... Yeah, January 2011 has been exceptionally busy!!

Liz - the market is hot right now.  We've been really busy - so much so, that I can't get on to Active Rain as much as I'd like!  Kind of took me by surprise, but I'm loving it.

December was busy and January has been crazy.  It actually was even busier for us that last summer.  We also have had 3 houses sell in the last three days . . . a strong indication that things are going to keep going!

Same here in northern NJ. February is really booking up as well.. For me, it's all owner occupied, I do think more and more sellers now know they have to stage, so good news for us!!

Spring is definitely here even though everywhere I look there are 10 foot mountains of snow and ice! Keep those calls coming in..

Liz, I love home staging ad wish more clients would understand the value it brings presenting homes to buyers.

Working recently with condo buyers, I have found what a difference it makes heightening their interest in a property by getting that warm first impression.

Thanks!
