Are you feeling kinda crabby? I have the solution to that problem. This coming Saturday, February 5th, the Benicia Boosters is having the their second annual crab feed. This fundraiser helps out the wrestling team for both the Benicia Middle School and Benicia High School. I love crab feeds. My husband and I love to eat on the crab feed circuit every year staring in December. We have our special "feeds" and this is one of them.
Many crab feeds just throw their food together with out attention to detail. For example, just dump a bag of lettuce in a bowl without any extras like onion, tomatoes, olives, and maybe some croutons. As to the pasta, open a can of sauce and throw it on the noodles!
Not this crab feed, the salad is fresh and crisp. The pasta is homemade by two incredible cooks in our office Coldwell Banker Solano Pacific. I realize many of you will think, forget the salad and pasta, and I don't disagree with you. HOWEVER, when the first courses are tasty it puts you in good frame of mind to know your money spent is well worth it.
The best part is the crab, all you can eat. The servers keep it coming and coming until crab is coming out your ears! There is no way you will walk away hungry after this feast!
