North Tustin Senior Housing Project - The Springs at Bethsaida
The Orange County Planning Commission voted 4-1 in favor of a proposed senior housing project in North Tustin. The North Tustin Senior Housing Project has been given the title "The Springs at Bethsaida".
In approximately a month the housing project proposal will be set in front of the Orange County Board of Supervisors for final approval.
You would think with a 4-1 vote from the Planning Commission that the 'Springs at Bethsaida' would have no problem getting a final approval but there has been an extreme amount of opposition from local residents towards the North Tustin senior housing project. Local residents spoke their minds and held signs with messages of opposition to the project at the Planning Commission's meeting that was held on Jan 12th fearing that their neighborhood's 'character' was at risk of changing.
The project would have the following features:
153 Dwelling Units
19 Single-Story Bungalows
2 Story Main Building
Common Area/Parking Level
Courtyard w/ Pool, Spa, and Seating Areas.
The Springs at Bethsaida, if approved by the Orange County Board of Supervisors, will be completed in approximately 21 months.
