Foreclosures Are A Great Deal!

Well My clients just closed escrow 2 weeks ago today. And boy did they get a great deal. A four bedroom home in Roseville (95747) for $370,000. It was listed @ $400,000.  The bank responded the next day! And accepted our offer. The appraisal came in @ $390,000. Instant equity! What a great house! My client's were thrilled with everything and it was a very smooth transaction.  Can't wait to help more people like this!  There are some things to beware of and if your not educated it could be bad!

It's funny, that you consider getting a house for $20,000 to be a great deal on a $400,000. I agree, that's a deal. I just keep getting bombarded by people who think they can get foreclosures for half the value of the home, and pennies on the dollar. I don't know who makes these infomercials, but if you can get $20,000 less than purchase price on a foreclosed home, I think you're doing alright. 

If anybody actually really does get foreclosures for half price I'd love to hear about it.

Welcome to ActiveRain, Michelle, from a fellow KW agent! I'm glad to see the sale price come in relatively close to list. That way the seller still has a better chance of recovering some equity, and your buyer still gets a great deal -- win-win.
