Hi All,

Back in the late '70's when I headed to College in the Shenandoah Valley, my favorite stop was in Warrenton, Va. Back than a sleepy little town 40 miles west of Washington, DC, It was a great stop for a Spamoni's Pizza or a Mama Johnson's apple pie! Interstate 66 ended in Gainesville and you'd have to get off and continue west on Route 29. 29 would split in Warrenton into Route 211 and on to the mountains you would go. Through Luray and New Market and catch Interstate 81 on your way south.

Warrenton has grown like most Washington suburbs into a diverse, beautiful community of young people moving in and old folks left from those sleepy days. One of my favorite towns to visit....Warrenton, Va!!!!
