Thankful Thursdays: An early Spring...in my step that is!

The energy in our office is at an all-time high due to:

More traffic
More phone calls
More property showings
More offers to purchase
More listing opportunities

Despite the national news of gloom and doom, I will say once again that all real estate is local and refuse to listen to the naysayers! In two weeks we have had several accepted offers, gained 2 listings and working to put 2 more listings together. We both have buyers coming to town to purchase in the next several weeks. This has been an exciting 2011 so far with many goals accomplished!

My real estate partner Lee and I have been averaging 8 to 10 calls daily on listings regarding availability from agents or potential buyers out just looking around, getting a feel for the area. And I have to say this has put a spring in my step and thought processes!

I am thankful this Thursday indeed!

Wanda--Thanks for sharing your good news. Keep going. If you reach all your goals by June you can double them before end of year. Go for it!

Unfortunately the awful winter weather has had an effect on other parts of the country. Years ago I learned that buyers want to see the roof and the driveway--sans snow & ice. Yes, a few will buy during an after dark appt or during a snow storm, but they are the exception.
