In my last blog I was concentrating on getting ready for the next big event in Bandera Texas. I thought it was the Hunter's Bar b que, but I totally forgot about the tastiest festival of all in the county- The Cajun Festival in Lakehills!! I don't know how that could have slipped my mind- especially since that was the place of my first date with my husband, 14 years ago! I remember like it like it happened yesterday- I volunteered to work the bread pudding booth- and I've been in love ever since! In love not just with my husband, but with bread pudding- it literally melts in your mouth! You have to try it- along with the crawfish etouffee, jambalaya, red beans and rice, and the gumbo.
