59 years. That's how long the Great Canadian Picnic has been in existance in Phoenix, Arizona. Just what is the Great Canadian Picnic? First, it's NOTjust for Canadian, but it IS the feature event of Canada Week that runs the week of February 5th through February 12.
Great Canadian Picnic ~ February 5, 2011 beginning at 10:00am at the South Mountain Preserve Park (10919 S. Central Ave, Phoenix).
Events will include food (of course), live music and games. **Bring a non-perishable food item to help support the food bank. More picnic details.
The week ends with the Can-Am Golf Cup Tournament at the Aguila Championship Golf Course 8440 S. 35th Ave at Baseline. Information and registration for the Can-Am.
