acAttention theater lovers! Do you love going to dinner and a movie? Why not save time and do both. The Sherman Community Players (SCP) have been presenting state-of-the-art entertainment to the North Texas and Southern Oklahoma areas since the 1920s. The popular entertainment facility is hoping to educate those interested in performing arts. SCP is a non-profit that focuses on a wide variety of productions such as educational outreach programs, children's theatre and seasonal productions.
On February 12, the SCP Theatre Guild is promoting a Valentine Dinner Fundraiser. Before seeing Dearly Beloved, a southern comedy about love, marriage and sisterhood, take part in a mouth-watering, three course dinner catered by Feast On This! The menu is set to include marinated boneless chicken breasts stuffed with apple wood smoked bacon, confetti or rice pilaf and a tart raspberry glaze for desert. Yum!
