Papagayos Mexican Restaurant, Lake Arrowhead, CA

  Papagayos is located in beautiful Lake Arrowhead California and is one of the most popular restaurants for locals and tourists, Papgayos has been serving great food and drinks to the community since 1983. The location could not be better too since it's in the heart of Lake Arrowhead at The Village. The Village is where a lot of the action is due to all the shopping, dining, and events that take place there.

  What is nice about Papagayos is their large menu. They serve all the Mexican restaurant staples like fajitas, tacos, tamales, burritos, and my personal favorite the chicken rolled tacos. They also serve some dishes you may think of when going to a Mexican restaurant like potato skins, New York steak, and lettuce wraps. They have a full bar which is an excellent place to sit and wait for your table, or enjoy an appetizer while watching one of your favorite sporting events on one of their many flat screens. Don't forget to have one of their "Killer margaritas" while you there. My personal favorite is the "Clyde's hand shake", which comes served to the table in your own shaker.

  One of my favorite times of year in Lake Arrowhead in Summer. Nothing better than going out on the boat and cruising around the lake all day, then pulling up to one of the courtesy docs at The Village and walking over to Papagayos for their lakeside taco bar. Every summer Papgayos opens up their outside patio, which over looks the lake. They serve tacos, chips and salsa, soda, beer and wine, and their wonderful margaritas.
