Warm memories of years ago come back every time I visit here.....

My dad used to make his own wine in the basement, I remember trips to Vineyards like this, where our family would pick grapes for a few hours ( and fill up on them until we got a stomach ache :) LOL... He had his own Spigot & Barrel ( just like the ones for sale here ) and would even let my younger brother & I have a little taste after the fermentation process was complete...it was our secret - Mom never knew or she'd be mad!!

Now when I visit Anderson's, I always ask to taste their

most recent releases...they have a wine sampling bar to

help you make your decision, since the variety produced

by their crops is abundant!

Of course there are many other items available for

purchase from home made preserves & jams (pumpkin

butter is in season now) to fresh bakery items and yes fall

apples by the bushel fulls so you can bake to your hearts

content :)

So If You are looking for something to this weekend come by and sip some home grown VINO :) and leave with

a basketful of goodies! There is so much to do for children of all ages including wagon rides, Wine cellar tours,

Hello Jo-anne, thanks very much for stopping by, I purchased this seasons vineyard blush yesterday -(sweet), but I sampled a dry white as well - and after your comment I should have gotten the white- it does go well with meals......luckily we live close enough to go back :)

Grace, I love wineries! We have a few out East on Long Island and they are so much fun! There is plenty of wine tasting, hayrides, so many fun things to do. I try to get to one at least once a year. I'm glad you had a great time and your pictures are terrific.

Wineries are fun, I agree-hope you get out to enjoy the ones near you on Long Beach :0 but stay away from the HAY....( A chew...just kidding LOL)

Hi Jeff - thanks for dropping by...wow what a switch from NW IN to FL...you are in a great fast growing area of Florida - Panama City - especially for Real Estate!

Yes it was a huge change but one for the better. No more late nights in the steel mill with Lake Michigan breathing down my neck. Still have family in the area and many friends there. Lived in North Judson for 10 years and from the looks of the football scores, I left at a good time. Could not stand to see a great football program play like they are playing.

Panama City has some great opportunities for real estate buyers, especially investors. If you have some investors looking for a place to put some money, send them my way. I would love to work referrals with you.

Absolutely...If we have anyone looking in Panama City- we will give you a call - we also sell properties in Starke County as well- so if your family/friends up here need the services of a REALTOR, we'd also appreciate the referral. North Judson is a cute town-we've sold a few homes in town and on the outskirts as well. Jeff has a friend from there Tim Brown. Sorry to hear the football team is not doing so well.

Is that the Tim Brown that works at Sun Appliances? I met him a few times, nice guy.

North Judson is a nice town, I worked for Patterson Realty when I was there but just part time. I remember seeing your signs and ads when I was there.

Hi Jeff and Grace-Spouses Selling Houses! I love it! Ok it seems that I have been hitting many wine testing posts lately? Is real estate getting to everyone? :) I have never been to a wine tasting. For some reason doesn't matter how little or how much wine I drink I feel it immediately. Seriously the vineyard looks beautiful and a very soothing atmosphere...not the wine but the natural beauty. Thanks for sharing and I appreciate you commenting on my post!

Jeff and Grace, Your pictures are great. I do enjoy a good glass of wine. I tend more towards reds but if you saw my post on here on Eden Winery http://edenwinery.com/index.htm you saw that the winery near where I lived in SW FL also specialized in whites and blushes. These local vineyards are so fun and often unexpected. Yours looks great! Would love to visit but Atlanta to NW IN is a bit of a haul.

SNOW? I will never miss the snow and the wind coming off of the lake. The closest thing we have to that is the pure white quartz sand on the beach. I'll wait to come visit when there is not a chance of snow.
