Jimmy - cool, very cool clip. I am a bit surprised, that agent would not disclose it. Does not look like fair game

Jimmy: The MLS is a powerful tool that syndicates listing data and gets homes sold. The only reason people shouldn't use it is if they are in an area where it is not offered.
Jon - No it isn't fair game and it is tough telling a person there isn't much I can do for them as they are under contract with that other broker that happen to "forget" to tell them they don't cooperate in the MLS
Hannah - I do video my listings! I actually submitted one of the videos we did to the Kodak Video Challenge! Check it out here!

Matt - I hear ya brotha! It is sad that agents who don't participate in the MLS don't tell their clients that! Well it isn't that surprising, because they know clients wouldn't use them!
One would think word of mouth would do those agents in eventually.
You would think. they do have a very low market share, but it is still insane that people would use them. How knows some people just don't do their due diligence and check on these things.
Maybe they were the first agent who answered their phone? If they were to call me I would be at their house in 15 minutes!! lol Thanks for stopping by!
Jimmy, first of all thanks for joining VBloggers! Your tip to buyers is great, and putting it in video makes it even more poignant. It is a shame that a real estate agent wouldn't advice a seller that they aren't apart of the area MLS... wow, I've not heard of that here in the Greater Raleigh area....
I'm off to check out your other videos!
Pamela - I know it is crazy that they wouldn't! We will fight these brokers with good service, one client at a time!! haha
Wow! Amazing that sellers still really don't understand this! I would think with all the information on the internet for consumers that they would know to ask an agent if they were part of the MLS.
Nyssa - I hear you! I don't understand it. Oh well I know I am a Realtor and proud of it, and will make my clients aware of what I will do and not do for them so they know before hand!
Wow, that's a new one. I can't imagine this happening but yes, there are many, many consumers who don't understand how the process works. Seems to me it is the responsibility of the listing agent to make sure they do know the process and how you work and market listings. Seems to me they should be able to get out of that listing.
Nice video and hopefully many sellers will view it.
