Yellowstone National Park - A Great Escape From Reality

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Hamm Homes

Every year for the past eight years, my wife and I load up the car and drive up to Yellowstone National Park.  My wife is very busy everyday practicing law and looks forward to our annual trips where computers and cell phones collect dust.

We get up at the crack of dawn and find a perfect spot to set up our spotting scopes and cameras in hopes of finding some wonderous wildlife about to start their day.  We have seen many bears, wolves, coyotes and moose on these trips.  Here are some pictures from our trip last summer.  Enjoy!

I love Yellowstone. It is amazing to see the crust of the earth burst open. That is the one park I would visit again. I can't blame you for going back again and again.

Will - great shots, I have been to Yellowstone several times and have seen bears but never a grizzley. Nor a wolf that it looks like you have pictured in that one shot. Looking forward to coming back.

Hi Kathy and Mike,  Two years ago we got really lucky and saw 38 wolves, one pack had 28,  and saw 6 grizzley all in 5 days.  We always stop at all the ranger station and ask if there is any new kill close to the road.  Some rangers are great and will tell you, some will not mention anything.  That is always a great place to start searching.  We got our first scope in West Yellowstone and now have 2,  look for people with scopes, we always let people see what we have in ours.

These are great pictures.  Thanks for sharing. You should frame some of these to hang.
