that is a very nice quote and I think...perfect for this time of year when people think just a little bit more about the one they love.
Nice quote and so appropriate with Valentine around the corner, although I am not sure I see the relationship between love and art. Is love an art? I know I shouldn't dissect quotes; without love there is no life.

Anja ~ Well, Marc Chagall is a French artist & “In life there is a single color, as on an artist’s palette, which provokes the meaning of life and art. It is the color of love.” Humm, in my humble opinion, it says to me that the meaning of life & art are both love. The color of love is red. Apparently, since I am not a painter/artist, there are times when only one color is on the palette. I think a palette is the board the artist holds with a glob of paint.
