By
Real Estate Agent with SHAHAR Management

This article came to me in a tweet today and as someone with extremely curly hair I decided to pass it along.   Mandy allows her articles to be reblogged and shared in all ways of social media.  I have gotten to the point with my curly hair that I have given up hoping for straight hair.  I have finally accepted it and I am glad I don't have to go to the beauty salons for perms a couple times a year.  It took a looooooooooong time but I am finally there!

The Number one rule for curly hair: adore it!

It always amazes me when folks with naturally curly hair don't entirely enjoy it. So many women go to drastic actions to get straight hair when these folks possess something so fantastic already. Continually straightening your hair with a flat iron can cause considerable heat damage, and please do not get permanent hair straightening procedures done.

Enjoy Your Curly Hair...

Your naturally curly hair is beautiful. Whether or not it is long, short, small curls, or loose waves, you have quite a few straight haired women wishing they had simply a wee bit of your kink! Long curly hair, in particular, once healthy can be really attractive.  Men frequently generally integrate sexiness with and consider big hair to be really appealing. If a lady has crazy yet controlled curls, that are full of body, many men are drawn to that look, and affiliate hair with sex.

Take Proper care of Your Curly Hair...

The most critical point for curly hair is to condition it. Frizzy, uncontrollable, natural curls can easily be tamed by utilizing a conditioner designed particularly for curly hair.  Also, deep condition your curls once a week, with do-it-yourself available conditioners or intensive store or beauty salon bought treatments. Also, use a glossing serum mixed with a leave-in moisturizing hair product for a fantastic curl look. Stiff curls that don't bounce aren't as great as a curl which you can run your fingers through yet stays molded. You can also mix leave-in with your gel or mousse to avert the unwanted sticky look. Dry your hair upside down, on low and always use a diffuser. It is much better to let your curls dry naturally though.

Work Your Curls...

Now that you've got the curls you've always wanted, flaunt them. As soon as your hair is absolutely dry, use a modest amount of glossing spray and evenly mist the final product. No matter if you possess short curls or long curls, if you love them, other people will love them and notice them.  It is important to be
sure of yourself. Various individuals acknowledge and respond to that trait. Therefore, if you enjoy your curls and stop talking about how much you need to change them and as an alternative embrace them, other people can love them too. You may even possess a few of the straight haired girls wishing also much more which they were blessed to have your curls, even if solely for a day.

Enjoyed reading your post, I also do have curly hair and most of the time, it's up in a pony tail but I'm seeing more and more people with long curly hair and I wonder if they're all naturally curly or is it a perm? If you think about it, it takes less time to fix a curly hair than straight hair but you certainly do have to take care of it or it will look like a Brillo Pad!!

Too Funny!   I agree totally.   Be happy with what God gave you and learn to work it and accept it as the gift that it is.   Being a fellow curly hair girl, I to use to spend way too much time trying to straighen my curls....it was a total waste of my time but I did learn a leason to love who and what I am just as I am!

I have wavy hair that is also mildly curly: thanks for the re-blog, Debra. And, I have learned to live with it because the straight-haired people are just as envious of my wavy hair as I am of their straight hair.

Debra, I love your curly hair.  My sister has curls like you;I have the natural waves.  I have to make sure I have someone who cuts with them.  I always wanted straight hair (lol). Isn't it funny how we want what we don't have.  My sister has came to the same place that you have by the way.

Debra:  I love your hair also, my niece has hair just like yours and her mother made her feel terrible about it instead of teaching her to love her hair....hope she's gotten over it because many people want curly hair and get perms like to have hair like yours!

Beth-Thanks for stopping by!  All the time I have people asking me..."Where did you get your perm?"  You can always tell when they don't believe you when you say it is natural.  I have to laugh because for years I used to say-why the heck would I say it is natural if it wasn't, duh?

Hannah-Us with curly hair forget sometimes how much it is liked by others who don't have it.  When you have it you tend to HATE IT!  It is always in knots, you can't run your fingers through it and so on.  And forget about rainy days!

Lisa-I wanted straight hair for the longest time but basically I have just given up.  :D

Melinda-I wouldn't say I love it but I hate it alot less.  LMAO

Toni-Yes I have seen that too.  I get asked about my hair a couple times a week if not more.

Nick-hahhahahahhahahahhahahah.........ahahahahahhahahaha

Marchel-Thank you!  Yes finding someone to cut your hair when curly is crucial!  I can't tell you how many horrible haircuts I have had in my lifetime.  It is extremely hard to cut curly hair.  Some people can just not master it.  Actually I have cut my hair recently (needed a change) so I need to redo my professional photos.

Jane-Thank you!  That is terrible about her making her feel bad about her hair.  That is something that could stay with you your whole life-and make you extremely self consious.  My daughter has curly hair as well but has been flat ironing it for so long I don't think there is a curl left.  LOL
