We just finished picking the winner of a contest that we at McCue Mortgage ran over the Christmas Holiday, for a Free Holiday Mortgage Payment to one of our Borrowers whose loan is in our portfolio, and we service.
The contest was very simple. All the homeowner had to do was to take a picture of the outside of their house decorated for the Holiday, and submit it to us by e-mail or snail mail. The loan had to be one that we are currently servicing, because the law does not permit us to do this for other loans that we have done, but not servicing.
We received several entries as you can imagine, so picking the winner is tough. Most of the loans that we service are first time homeowners, so they do not have a lot of money to decorate, and the possibility of having their mortgage waived for a month, especially around the Holidays was very attractive. The house below was the winner, and we put together the post card below that we e-mailed to our Borrowers and Realtor Partners.
We will be having more contests throughout the year giving more of our Borrowers to win a Free Mortgage Payment, as well as coming up with other contests that we can include all other Homeowners that we have done loans for.
So keep an eye out for the next contest!!!
