Water, water everywhere...  What a beautiful part of the world you have the privelege of inhabiting, listing and selling to very fortunate people!  Thanks for the post.

Hey Jason - get on up here and I'll take you when you arrive!  These fairs and festivals are always great fun, and I love going to as many as I can.

Hi Mike - I do feel very lucky to live here in this wonderful area.  You're right about water being everywhere - beauty all around us, and I love helping people make this their new home, too.  Thanks for your comments!

Nice Localism post, Ann! We don't see too many fairs and festivals here after school starts. I always think fall is best for these events, with the nice weather.

Ann,

Great list of local events in your part of New Hampshire.  Our local fair will be here in a few weeks and I am ready for a few rides and some funnel cake.

That's a lot of fairs and festival Ann - we have our local fairs in Feb. and March - great idea to feature them.

Hey Monika - I love fall here, too.  The air is so crisp, the skies are an amazing blue color, and all those glorious leaf colors that we get to see every day!  For those who've never been here for fall, it's certainly something they should do at least once in their lifetime - come enjoy fall in NH or Maine or Vermont - you'll want to come back again and again, I promise!

These fairs just add to all we get to enjoy by living here.  And there are all kinds of fairs all over the state, too!

Hi Paula - we have some fairs in the late spring and a few in the summer, but New Hampshire and surrounding states are full of them in September and October here.  I'm with you, I think fall is the perfect time of year for those!  Thanks for your comments!

Hi Rita - I wish I could take another trip down to your beautiful state - I just love fairs.  I know in the Asheville/Hendersonville area there are a number of fairs going on.  We have a family cottage in that area, and some of my family's been there to go to some of them.  I love fair food, but must say I've never had funnel cake yet.  They sell it at almost all of our fairs, but I just indulge on so many other treats that I always forget to save room for some funnel cake.

Thanks for your comments!!

Hey Ines - We do ahve some fairs late spring and some in the summer, but the fall finds us loaded with fairs up in this part of the country.  And those mentioned in this post were just those over the next 2-3 weeks here in my area.  There are loads of them all over NH in the next few weeks, all over Maine, too.  And mixed in with all those fairs is our glorious fall weather - that's the icing on the cake for me!

Monika and I are still waiting for you to take a trip up here......  ;-)

Cynthia - thanks so much for your comments!  I'm glad what I wrote made you want to take part - hope it makes others feel the same way!

Andrew - we have so many fairs up this way, and they're continuing around the area for another couple of weeks in various places.  Fall is fabulous for fairs and fun, that's for sure!

Ann - I am the "fair guy". Of course, I am also the "pizza guy". I think it would be a great road trip in the fall to just go state to state and visit as many fairs as possible. Just a fantasy you brought to mind. And isn't that nice, a fantasy you created that does not require blushing. : )

Hi John - you are so cute with that comment!  I think I'd like to go from state to state to as many fairs as I could get to, too.  What fun that would be!  And of course, the food that goes along with all those fairs......  yum!!

Thanks for reading!!
